Some weddings have a way of feeling effortlessly stylish from beginning to end, and this beautiful celebration at Bunny Hill Weddings was exactly that.
Set against the stunning Yorkshire countryside, Bunny Hill Weddings provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with genuine emotion, thoughtful details and one unforgettable party. Every corner of the venue offers beautiful light, modern architecture and elegant interiors, making it a dream location for couples looking for a contemporary yet timeless wedding venue.
From the moment I arrived, there was such a relaxed atmosphere. The morning was filled with excitement as the final touches came together before the celebrations began. These quieter moments are some of my favourites to capture—real conversations, happy tears and those fleeting glances that often become the most treasured memories.
The bride looked absolutely incredible in a gorgeous lace wedding dress that felt both timeless and effortlessly elegant. Delicate detailing and a flattering silhouette created a look that was classic with a modern edge, perfectly complementing the sophisticated styling of the day. Rather than focusing on overly posed moments, my approach is to document the day as it naturally unfolds while creating images with an editorial feel—beautifully composed, full of emotion and completely authentic.
After an emotional ceremony and a relaxed drinks reception, guests enjoyed celebrating together while making the most of Bunny Hill's beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. It's one of those venues that photographs beautifully in every season, offering endless opportunities for natural, elegant portraits without ever taking couples away from their guests for too long.
As the evening arrived, the bride surprised everyone with a fabulous outfit change, swapping her lace gown for a fun party dress that was made for the dance floor. It was the perfect way to mark the start of the evening celebrations and brought a whole new energy to the reception.
And what better way to kick off the party than with a round of shots? Laughter filled the room as everyone raised a glass together before heading straight onto the dance floor. Those spontaneous moments are exactly why I love documentary wedding photography—real reactions, genuine joy and memories that instantly transport you back to how the day felt.
The rest of the evening was one big celebration, with dancing, laughter and unforgettable moments shared between family and friends. It was the perfect ending to such a beautiful day.
